'Murder 101' on Hallmark Channel

Has someone here on lj recorded the film "Murder 101" (with Dick & Barry van Dyke) on Hallmark yesterday, and would be willing to share a copy? I am really lost here. Two people contacted me after my first pledge for a copy of this film, but it seems they both lost interest or so :(

I will pay for the tape, shipment and all other costs. Please?

Murder 101 - Help, please?

I got a big favor I'd like to ask my f-list: Is there somebody who could record the TV special "Murder 101" (starring Dick and Barry van Dyke), which premiers on Hallmark Channel on January 7th, for me? Please? I beg you. We here in Germany have no chance to get Hallmark, and as well as I know our TV stations, we won't get to see this film for another two or three years, if ever...

Of course I will cover all costs (tape, shipping, etc.) Help, please?

Slash Fics in the Diagnosis Murder Fandom

So, here I sit, mourning my Laptop HDD, which has decided to get suicidal (with loud scratching noises btw.), waiting for its final breath and meanwhile surfing the internet. I just did an Google search on "Diagnosis Murder Slash" and found an old entry in Lee Goldberg's blog. Now, I'm sure, you'll ask two things: What entry are you talking about? Who's Lee Goldberg?

Second question first:
Who's Lee Goldberg? )

Now on to the first question:
What entry are you talking about? )

To come to an end: I'm not interested in an argument about this whole slash-thing. To be honest, I'm not interested in any argument at all. I just wanted to get this straight. If my english was a bit better, and my writing skills would co-operate with my fantasy, I surely would write fan-fiction. Stomach churning slash fan-fiction, nothing less;) But I can not write fictions. I regret this, others don't - I'm sure. And I'm also sure that a lot of DM fans appreciate the fact that I can't write anything. I have never seen a fandom with so much tension, hatred and envy between the members.

I wish you a lot of luck with your next novel. I'll be one of your readers.

Slash fiction in the "Diagnosis Murder" fandom

Hmm… where to start?

I consider myself a fairly quite member on the DMAS and every other list regarding Diagnosis Murder. Sometimes I want to reply to one or another topic but I withstand the urge to do so mostly because you never know who may feel attacked or insulted.

So, please. I do NOT intend to offend anyone personally. Since English isn't my mother tongue I apologize in advance if somebody feels my words rude or poor chosen. Be aware that this entry only shows MY opinion and MY view on fanfiction. I don't intend to impute anything. Nor will this be a complete overall view of all aspects on the series DM and its possibilities.

If you are up to read MY thoughts, go ahead… )
